Meet Our CPA
Stan C. Bennett is owner of Arthur’s Business Service. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1978, and began his accounting career the same year, working for the state of South Carolina in various government positions. Later, he worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina in the Accounting and Budgeting departments.
Stan became a CPA in 1990 and opened his own practice in 1997 in Lexington, SC. He moved to Virginia in 2000 and purchased Arthur’s Business Service in 2001, relocating the business to its current location at 107 South Bridge Street in Bedford, VA in 2012.
Stan is heavily involved in the Bedford business community. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Big Otter Mill, and previously served as Chairman of the Board for the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce and Member of the Board of Directors for Rwandan HUGS and the Bower Center for the Arts.
As the owner of Arthur's Business Service, Stan provides Tax Preparation, Small Business Consulting and Computer Consulting in Bedford, VA. Arthur’s Business Service offers a wide range of services from tax preparation to contract CFO services to small businesses help, including QuickBooks Pro Advising. His contract CFO program includes Budget and Financial Statements responsibility on a monthly basis as well as loan package preparation, accounting staff management for the client, and various other financial duties as required by his clients.
